About Us
I spent years as an Andersen employee before I started this company. I saw the standards they held. I saw what precision looked like. Then I left that job and watched what happened in the real world—homeowners getting beautiful windows installed by contractors who had no idea what they were doing.
That frustration became the reason I started. I wanted to be the contractor I would call for my own home. Not someone playing it fast, not someone reading the manual for the first time on your porch, not someone who'd move on to the next job and hope your windows held up. I wanted to install windows like Andersen taught me—which meant every measurement mattered, every seal had to be right, every detail got attention.
The early jobs proved something simple: when you know the product and you care about the work, homeowners notice. They felt it. Not in flashy marketing language, but in how the windows hung, how they opened, how they stayed sealed through the season. Word traveled. Thirty years later, we're still doing the same thing.
'We don't install windows like the manufacturer sent them. We install them like the manufacturer would, if they showed up themselves.'
— Founder & Andersen Certified Contractor
Product knowledge is not optional. Most contractors install Andersen windows, but they don't know them. They follow the steps. We know why each step exists. We know what happens when moisture gets behind a frame, when a sill isn't sloped right, when caulk goes on at the wrong temperature. That knowledge changes how you work. You catch things before they become problems. Your clients don't get a call three years later saying the window is weeping.
Credentials matter because they're verifiable. We earned Elite Certified status and Certified Contractor standing through Andersen because we met standards that are actually tested. Not because we paid a fee or took a quick online course. That distinction sounds small until you're the homeowner trying to figure out if the person at your door knows what they're doing. Certifications are how you know we do.
Clean workmanship compounds over time. In year one, nobody sees the difference between a hasty install and a careful one. By year five, six, seven—people do. We've watched windows installed by others start to fail because the foundation was rushed. Ours don't. Not because we're lucky, but because we clear the scope, we do the work right the first time, and we don't move to the next house until this one is finished properly.
Fewer surprises mean better relationships. We don't high-pressure people or oversell solutions they don't need. We measure, we scope the work clearly, we tell you what to expect, and then we do exactly that. No hidden costs. No shock when the bill comes. No 'we found more damage' pivot. That honesty builds trust in a way nothing else can.
When we show up, you'll notice we ask questions before we measure. We want to understand how you live in the space, what you're trying to solve, what matters most. Then we walk through options without the sales pitch. We'll tell you if something is overkill for your situation, and we'll tell you if skimping would be a mistake.
The work is clean. Your home stays clean. We protect floors, we plan the sequence so you can still use other rooms, and we finish what we start each day. Small things, but they show respect for your space.
If you've been burned by contractors before, or if you're tired of guessing whether someone knows what they're talking about, we're easy to talk to. Call or reach out. We'll be straight with you about what's needed and what isn't. That's the only way to work.
